A FORT LAUDERDALE HOME RENO
When a Westchester family relocated to Fort Lauderdale in the midst of the recent pandemic, the story was one of resilience, relocation and remarkable design. The brief for their new home was simple: infuse the home with a modern, organic aesthetic to reflect the well-travelled spirit of the home owner and her two boys.

One of our favorite interior designers, Ania Dunlop of Home for Zen, worked closely with us here at Sarza to bring the vision to reality. Using many Sarza pieces, Ania created a home where every corner reveals a treasure and every piece tells a story. Each item was carefully selected, customized and crafted bespoke for this beautiful home.

The living room features a few of our signature pieces. A
soft woolen rug, with intricate patterns and luxurious texture, creates a harmonious backdrop for the entire design. The hand-carved Melike coffee table showcases African
craftsmanship and anchors the space. The Umthi floor
lamp, inspired by the organic lines of tree branches, provides a statement focal
point.

A GORGEOUS BOTANICAL DINING ROOM
The dining room features a
James Mudge solid wood dining table with a brass top as the centerpiece for lively family meals. A touch of playfulness was introduced with tropical wallpaper accenting the bar area. A floating sideboard adorned with a large-scale photograph created a distinctive space for showcasing collectible ceramics.

Just outside the dining
room, sits our gorgeous Manu wooden server. Its rhythmically complex faceted mosaic front, houses push to open doors and drawers.

The primary bedroom became a retreat with earthy tones, organic linens, and carefully selected artwork that spoke to the client's love for diverse cultures. This is one of our best-selling David Ballam artworks, also featured in the home of actor Viola Davis as per Architectural Digest.

With the living room overlooking the courtyard and pool, designer Ania focused on bringing the outdoors in with strategic use of a statement planter. The room was given a natural, earthy feel with a hand made clay bead dome chandelier and a leather upholstered bench.
